The Galilean artists represented in your Secret Galilee Gallery gift parcel come from diverse backgrounds. Included are members of our community with diverse needs and qualities that can engage with arts and crafts through important centres such as Ma’arag.

Ma’arag is a unique enterprise situated in Western Galilee. It is a rehabilitative occupational training centre for about one hundred people with various disabilities who engage in varying creative processes to develop the required skills for integrating into the labour market. What makes this initiative unique is its combination of communal, cultural and commercial components that brings together people with different interests from various backgrounds across the Galilee. The daily interaction serves to break down barriers between the different communities, help eliminate prejudice, and lead to the formation of true partnerships. We are proud to support the stunning works that the Ma’arag group create that bring so much art, colour and vibrance to our wider community.

Included in your Secret Gallery Galilee gift parcel is a hand-made original ceramic fish motif made at one of the Ma’arag workshops on offer.
